These Luxury Oiled American Black Walnut Burr (Burr is a more intricate grain pattern than the Curl), American Black Walnut Curl, Oak Cluster and Pommele Sapele Fly Boxes are made in Wales by Jeff Jones, and have solid hardwood sides and a veneer of either American Black Walnut Burr, American Black Walnut Curl, Oak Cluster or Pommele Sapele top and bottom. The American Black Walnut Curl veneer on these small fly boxes is different to that on the large fly boxes, having a distinctive and unique curl. The quality of workmanship is outstanding and the boxes are finished with several coats of Danish Oil giving a fantastic feel and appearance and long lasting protection against the elements

The boxes are fitted with strong neodymium permanent magnets used as the box closures, which gives a smooth snag free surface and beautifully sculpted finger holds enable simple opening and closing of the boxes. A unique feature on these fly boxes is the chamfered profile of the interior edges, which not only looks great, but makes it easier to insert and remove flies which are near to the edges of the box.
